Description
Week three's theme was for the magic kids, and I was pretty stoked to try drawing a couple of them for the first time with thier familiars.
From top to bottom: Sasha and her bee. She's a new fairy character that Echo introduced me too. I don't know much about her yet, but her bubbly personality and destiny to be a confectioner makes a bee a good fit for a familiar. The bee needs a name.
Frayne the elf and Llyod the cat! Pretty boy elf is actually a excitable nerd and potions wizard (literally and figuaritivily.) Not much is comfirmed yet, but I like to think Lloyd doesn't always enjoy being caught up in Frayne's post experiment celebrations. X3
My babes, Isadora and Egan. The circumstances of how he ended up this witch's familar weren't ideal, but the two are close and work well together and they bond as she tries to find a way to reverse his curse.

Overall
Vision Originality Technique ImpactWhat we have here are two things that make me happy, more characters and by extension character development and hope. Sasha, Frayne and Isadora all strike me as colourful characters in this magical cast. The potion elf with his grumpy cat is adorable, the confectioner fairy with her honey bee is just sweet but what really hooks me is the witch Isadora and her familiar Egan. Why? Because she wants to help him reverse the curse and become a normal boy, that is hope. Because unless I see signs where Will may find a way to compromise and accept Egan and his destiny this magical remedy may be the only way to patch up that friendship.
So good show here, more characters, more story and more hope. Well done!
